Obviously. The things at LEAST twice as long as your standard anime episode, and uses a lot more technological hullabaloo jargon than you’d expect from an anime episode too. Of course it takes longer, there’s twice as much likely-hood for there to be words they don’t know, and therefore can’t translate, literally or in context, and thus must give an impromptu search and research to properly translate.
Or they could just filter it through google translate, but the general opinion from the comments the last time I bumped into an episode translated like that was “WTF IS THIS SHIT”,
so I’m going to assume doing that is bad.
All that being said, anyone have a clue as to who’s translating and if they give estimates of how long they’ll be? Direct source information is the most reliable, after all. Assuming the source isn’t lying, but they probably have no reason to.

@Zetro – Hadena subs seem to be the fastest and most up to date as far as this anime goes, though imo their quality isn’t that great.
