In the Manga, it is around issue 491. The fish and possibly this ep isn’t in the manga near as I can tell. At least, I don’t find it. They are up to issue 550

It’s a filler,again,they set sail and than nothing,i am sick of these fillers,can’t they stop them???
In the manga sakura and the others doesn’t are,so what are they doing here???omg they don’t know anything,i’m sick of they piece of s**t

what reasons?they are close to the manga?(they are not,the manga is ahead with almost 90 chapter).so what’s the point for this fillers??tell me one good reason.

well but i think this filler is quite interesting. At least it connects the sea, unlike the past fillers is either talking about past not in manga.

It was around this time that they did half a year’s worth of fillers with those “flash back” episodes. hopefully it won’t be the same this time around.

the manga skips this week,and i read all of it,and this episode doesn’t even appear in the manga,so the next 3-4 ep will be fillers and than we will see some actions,as they arrive on the island,so we have more to wait.

I would rather see fillers now than later, cuz’ it’s all action after the island, it would suck if they placed fillers in the middle of a fight, like “some” Anime (ahem*Bleach*ahem)

at least these fillers are relative to the story, as opposed to random missions after sasuke left or random memories that only existed up to that point T_T

See, I don’t mind episodes like this but I’m not so sure I’ll enjoy the next one. I thought they’d add fillers in about now, simply because there aren’t many places to stop for a while without completely interrupting the plot. Not to mention this episode does a better job than the manga in regards to what the others are doing to prepare for the war at least from what I remember (I could be wrong).

this filler failed nasty. naruto isn’t supposed to know about the war and doesn’t find out till later and here is sakura, choji and that other long-haired bitch talking about preparing for the war

i just love the continuity error that is this episode 2 MAJOR things wrong with this ep

1. how the hell did sakura and the rest of them get to the island
2. how the hell did they not know about the giant fucking fish
