Feels like they were thought it was a 24 episode season, but suddenly realized it was only twelve so they had to rush the ending.

wow, the ending should have atleast been more emotional. it would’ve made it more satisfying..

but DAMN.. showing the fight in black-and-white was pure GENIUS!

One word sums up the emotions for this anime. EPIC.
It was a great watch for me and was entertaining. The ending is rushed IMO but I can’t see them doing a better job for it. I think the ending suits it and it’s an open one so leaves room for speculation. I just think this anime was one of my favorites of 2010.

i think they could have did a better job and could have stretched it out to a 24 ep. season but to tell you the truth i have mixed emotions about it but i think overall it was pretty decent but if they didnt try to rush it it would’ve been better

The Battle was like Dragonball but at the same time its like Bleach or something beacuse of the flying stuff and swords

agree, kinda rush. I would prefer they continue for 24 eps, making the other three bodyguards master samurai too. they should also include the battle with Amakusa. more interesting tat way. but anw nice anime, kinda sad Jubei is gone though

they are attempting to make a second season, though I do find it unlikely. That’s what it sounded like when I watched the ending.

PS. Um, yeah that is the epic duels kick ass stuff I wanted to see, took awhile but was worth it. Great ending.

this was a good anime but to have a stupid ending like this makes question anime i mean jubei kills herself and is the a 2nd season i hope it wont be rushed like this mess was i swear when i started this video i didnt know who they was fighting thats how you know they rushed this whole 12 episode series.

Eh..Lame ending. Still wasnt much figting scense either. just random streaks hitting each other. anime is like a 5.5/10

I would have prefered the ending without the black and white scene, I didn’t like it in Evangelion and I don’t like it in this show.

that was horribly rushed. the rest should have kissed him too and the french girl was totally wasted on that condom-wearing idiot.whatever it was still a good show
