All those people trying this are forgetting: whoever runs the anonymous proxy you are using has access to all of your non-encrypted session data.

In other words, log-in information transmitted in cleartext (unsecure) CAN be obtained by whoever is hosting the proxy! Examples? Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Have you ever wondered why people would have a free proxy available? This might explain it…
