It’s awesome that even here is an advertisement of this. It just shows how bad things are in japan! Unluckily i got no way to give any money, because of some personal problems, but if i could i would give at least 50€!
I hope that someone here can donate for japans sake.
Wtf mate! I’m trying to get a job at a grocery store to get $50 for Black Ops, and you guys are giving away that much like it’s fucking candy.I donated $0.05
Dude, shows how much you care. You think a game is more valuable than people. If you were there what do you think. Your parents or your game…
I donated $25 but that’s because I donated to a different agency before I saw this…so Japan gets $75 of my money:)
Thanks for the info on globalgiving.org ! I’ve been wanting to give something but really wanted something better or more personal than the Red Cross (who Do great work) but to tied with world governments and banks. So I read up on GG and it fit the bill… Wish I could give more, but I sent a link to their page to everyone on my contacts list… Thanks again and Keep the beautiful People of japan in your harts and Dreams…
PS: kgee, When you give, you receive too. you might want to try it sometime, it doesn’t have to be $ it can whatever, a compliment or keeping your snotty selfish opinions to yourself in matters of such massive pain and suffering ? Greed Leeds nowhere… But hey Wtf Mate! maybe it’s still beyond your abilities… Cheers !
I already donated about 500$ until now but unfortunatly i’m not rich and that’s about all i can give right now maybe i could give a bit more this friday after i get my next paycheck.
Everyone who can should give some money think that if something like that would happen to your country you would probably like to have some help too.
I already used $10 of my dollars to buy some nug now I don’t have any money left
I don’t have much, but every little bit counts, already donated $10 at a store
Wish I could donate…
( I have no way of sending money online though… I am helping with this fundraiser in my school for the Red Cross efforts. I hope this compensates for not being able to donate here…
(
@gopackgo
what did you get? half a bowl? lolz $10 of some nug hahaha
i dont dont have a visa!!!!! GOD DAMMIT!!!!!! i wash i could donate i love japan and there culture
Red Cross society is an alternative. a lot easier to donate to them.
I wish I could donate but… unfortunately my parents are the keepers of money in this house (I’m only in middle school. It’s understandable.).
We all put in money but I ended up with a shitload for how much I payed
I love both anime and Japan, and don’t get me wrong, but why donate to them? Their Economy is/was booming they are (in lack of a better word) Ubber rich.
uhmmmmmmm actually they were in debt prior to the natural disaster I believe. Japan’s debt runs deeper than America’s (which is pretty bad)
The sad thing is that some charities are fake and they use the money for their own personal gain.
Please only donate to the Redcross. There are alot of sick people who will do anything to get many. I have seen too many fake charity organizations.
@ witbak DANG that much what job do u hav??? and i wish i can donate but im still young
haha my school is forcing everyone to pay like 3 dollors to help them

Hello,
My name is Mirko Muresan, and I am the president of the Non-Governmental Organization named Kesenai. Our NGO is specialized in promoting both Japanese Culture and Diplomatic relationships between Europe and Japan.
And so, in this difficile moments that the people of Japan are experiencing, we would like to be close to them. Because we can’t send a team of volunteers over there, since that will require both a visa and money for transportation, we’ve decided to raise donations. We contacted many aid communities and we have decided to collaborate with GlobalGiving, because this way the money will go where the need is greatest.
Just a minute ago I watched on bbcnews a video where a japanese man was looking for his father and his mother in the ruins of what use to be a city in Iwate Prefecture, he said he was missing them, all he wishes is not his house not money not a thing but his family. I couldn’t stand and watch and I had to contact you because I know your visitors can make a difference too. Then I watched this video on Reuters: http://www.reuters.com/news/video/story?videoId=195671726&videoChannel=1 it was shocking seeing people washed out so easily, thinking that their life has ended.
Why work with us?
The main reason we started this campaign, was to show the world that both those who do subtitles and download them, as well any anime fan around the world, can unite for a cause like this, and together as a community can make a difference. So if you decide to join the campaign we will show the world that we anime lovers care! The result will be a united relief fund raised from the anime / manga / Japanese Culture fans.
