i meant to say that if i play DG2 and then DG, i probably wouldn't like the story that way. also i gone go down on monday to see if the got any copies left in some other shops, most likely they will have second hand copy.

the first game had the best story to it but DG2 had the better gameplay and if you get a good understandin of number 1 it can freak you out and leave you wiht some freaky thoughts especially the babies and the goddess and caim

The whole scene with Aroch (the elf lady) in the first one at the end was messed up... and i feel the first game had better gameplay for the land battles...

It was an alright game. I enjoyed it, I guess. But Never played much of it. But I'd buy it if I got the chance.

I love the character designs. I haven't played the first one but the memories of Caim and Angel in Drakengard 2 touched me. I love the story... And the blood. It's all impressive. The visual is good, well, no wonder why, it's SE's product afterall.

Just as a note, its Angelus not Angel.
Anyway, Caim's attitude, background and design were all very nice, one of my favorite characters from any square game...

Actually, in the Japanese version her name is Angel. x_x

Caim is just best in every way. He's a bad ass.

I hate it when they change names like that... It was the same in FF7 with Aeris/Aerith...

The deal with Aeris was only a translation error in FFVII. :P It was supposed to be Aerith from the beginning.

But Angel and Angelus are quite alike. Only the "us" added in the end xP

Either way, I think they should stick with one name, not change it between releases...

I've played the second one. It was okay, I mean I didn't like it nearly enough to play through it again after I beat it the first time, but it was still good. Strangely enough, the only parts I found really interesting were the ones involving Caim.

Looking at all your posts makes me want to buy the first one. I guess that'll answer some questions I have about it.

I saw the game played, but I never actually played it myself. It just didn't really appeal to me.

I got the first one and beat it 100% in about 3 days. People on the original Oritsuru forums got the game about a week before I did and were near the end of the game and couldn't beat it.

Kinda made me feel good that I blasted through it.

(I obtained every sword you could possibly get, I beat every boss you could possibly kill, and I even got the Fighter Jet <3)

I played the game and fell in love with it. The characters were complex, the story was unusual and the whole look of the game was beautiful.

I haven't played 2 yet...

I've played only Drakengard 2.I did like the story but the game was kinda short and the gameplay reminded me a bit of Dynasty Warriors' gameplay.
