Be warned, the “Wow, WTF!” is not just any “WTF”. Some of it is like the “Girl throwing puppies into the river” WTF.

Agreed! I actually own this entire series on dvd and it is fantastic!!! It has romance, a bit of comedy, and gore, oh sweet sweet gore! The storyline is superb and I also highly reccomend it!

Never could watch this anime. Blood and gore is one thing, but when in the first few minutes people have their heads ripped off and floating in the air, that is just too much. Like ayakashi is about the highest I will go, if you haven’t watched that anime yet then go, right now!

elfen lied is all about the voilence,
i prefer Higurashi no naku koro ni cause its more realistic, and has an better plot

it’s not dutch, it’s german and it’s the name of a poem written by Eduard Morike, which also appears in the manga … sadly it’s not in the anime

It was cool but bad clifhanger at the ending. A nice recommendation indeed but I would rather suggest reading the manga than watching the anime.

Alright, I have another anime recommendation for you in case you need something to watch. It’s a romance, action, drama anime.
Elfen Lied is the name of the anime I will be recommending to you this time. I’m not an anime reviewer and I don’t want to be one, so be nice.
So, Elfen Lied, I just started watching it yesterday and I’m almost done watching it and its one of those animes that makes you go “wow, WTF!?” at least that was my impression within the first 10 minutes of episode 1. The anime is full of blood and body parts fly everywhere! So if you don’t like to see blood then don’t watch it. Pansy! *cough cough*
The main reason I like this anime is because its very unpredictable, and i think you’ll enjoy that too.
Alright, its 12:06am here, so I’m going to bed, you watch Elfen Lied while I’m asleep.
Oh, also, there is some nudity in this anime, so VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. *wipes off nosebleed* lol jk
i cant believe i spent 30 minutes typing this, i could have watched another episode of Elfen Lied, f@#$k!
