There are some things the anime shows better then the manga, Soifons Bankai attack is one of them. I wonder how many more episodes before we see who does kill that king guy.

SomethinDwnUrPants is absolutely right, there is alot of BS in these recent episodes. They are trying to stretch out the episodes instead of getting straight to the point. Without the time being wasted on pointless things like the recap and clips of the episode before the intro, they would have been already fighting Aizen.

but they cant do that, if the anime catches up to the manga they will have to pause the anime till mr. wrighter put up more chapters just like in gintama though i must agree that they are going about it wrong,to me naruto has a better way of slowing down the anime’s progress by subtly incorporating arcs that dont detract totally and unattractively from the main storyline. it is true that they are just filling it up with flashbacks and Filler arcs but we cant blame them, no matter how annoying it is we will just have to grin and bare it, ne?
