how did they defeat all the arrancars?
well the next episode is ichigo and his friends are back to the real world

Its called “Save Orahime and head back!” not “defeat all the arrancars” Ichigo GOT Orahime back from Grimjow, so their mission is complete. MY question is, What happenned to Rukia, Chad, and the rest? Rukia was supposed to be severely injured, Chad passed out, but it seems like Uru and the red haired shinigami ran away, the NEXT question is… “HOW” did they know they found Orahime? Was there some form of telepathy involved? Or did Ichigo personally hunt each of his frinds out? When did they have the “TIME” to do all that? They left Hueco Mundo once they got Orahime back but “HOW” did they leave?

Figured it out for those of you who haven’t.
If you read what they tell you at the start of 168 you will see the following:
Ichigo has defeated grimmjow and successfully rescued Orihime.
The battle against the arrancar still rages on, but we will pause before continuing that tale.
now, a new story like none before it will unfold
So I think that rather then take a 2 - 3 month brake they might be trying to get ahead on the storyline so they have created a mini story for us to enjoy for a little while…

Its called a filler episode, basicly this is whats happening while they are away in the halow world
anime companys use this to slow down the story to save money and plan for what they have is the season fanalies otherwise they would run the episodes short
