Shogakukan’s website for the Black Lagoon franchise has announced on Tuesday that the release schedule for the remaining volumes of the Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail original video anime (OVA) series have each been delayed two to three months in Japan “due to production issues.” Volume 003 #27 “Angels in the Crosshairs” will ship on January 7, 2011 instead of November 3, 2010. Volume 004 #28 “Oversaturation Kill Box” will ship on March 2, 2011 instead of December 22, 2010. Volume 005 #29 “Codename Paradise, Status MIA” will ship on May 11, 2011 instead of March 2, 2011.
The first two volumes are already on sale in Japan. Funimation announced at Anime Expo in July that it licensed Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail for North America.
