Description:

Shiina Tamai is an ordinary 12-year-old girl searching for a new beginning. When she takes on the challenge of swimming farther out from shore, she encounters a strange starfish-like creature that saves her from drowning and names it Hoshimaru--Round Star. Later on she discovers a other children with similarly strange creatures like Hoshimaru, but learns a lot of them aren\'t as kind-hearted as they are....
